Meltblown polypropylene
The functional heart of a mouth mask is the filter material, which usually consists of one or more layers of meltblown polypropylene.
Starting April 2021, Dutch PPE Solutions will produce meltblown polypropylene for use in both regular (EN 149, e.g. FFP2) and medical face masks (EN 14683), as well as for filter applications. Sustainability is of paramount importance at Dutch PPE Solutions. Sustainability is therefore of decisive importance in the choice of our raw materials and energy suppliers for meltblown polypropylene production. Our ambition is to supply the most sustainable meltblown polypropylene in the world.
